定语从句
一、定义：
定语从句（Attributive Clauses）在句中做定语，修饰一个名词或代词，被修饰的名词，词组或代词即先行词。
二、分类：
关系代词有：who, whom, whose, that, which等。
关系副词有：when, where, why等。
三、关系代词引导的定语从句
关系代词所代替的先行词是人或物的名词或代词。
1、修饰人：who, whom, that
Is he the man who/that wants to see you? 他就是想见你的人吗？（作主语）
He is the man whom/ that I saw yesterday. 他就是我昨天见的那个人。（作宾语）
2、修饰事物：which, that
A prosperity which / that had never been seen before appears in the countryside. 农村出现了前所未有的繁荣。（作宾语）
The package which / that you are carrying is about to come unwrapped. 你拿的包快散了。（作宾语）
The package you are carrying is about to come unwrapped. 你拿的包快散了。（可以省略which / that）
3、“……的”：whose / of which
They rushed over to help the man whose car had broken down. 那人车坏了，大家都跑过去帮忙。
Please pass me the book whose (of which) cover is green. 请递给我那本绿皮的书。
四、关系副词引导的定语从句
关系副词可代替的先行词是时间、地点或理由的名词，在从句中作状语。
When, where, why，相当于”介词+ which”结构：
Do you remember the day when / on which you joined our club? 还记得你加入我们俱乐部的那一天吗？
Beijing is the place where / in which I was born. 北京是我的出生地。
Is this the reason why / for which he refused our offer? 这就是他拒绝我们帮助他的理由吗？
五、As, which代替整个句子
as和which可代整个主句，相当于and this或and that。
As一般放在句首，which在句中。
As we know, smoking is harmful to one’s health. 如我们所知，吸烟有害健康。
The sun heats the earth, which is very important to us. 太阳使地球暖起来，这对我们人类很重要。
职事例句
召会乃是一班由父神而生的人：
The church is a group of human beings who have been born of God the Father.
召会乃是一班由父神而生并被带进与基督生机联结的人。
The church is a group of human beings who have been born of God the Father and who have been brought into the organic union with Christ.
一个地方召会若将一切变成地方的，就成了一个地方的宗派。
A local church that makes everything local has become a local sect.
一个地方召会若将一切变成地方的，只彰显自己的地方，就成了一个地方的宗派。
A local church that makes everything local and that expresses only its locality has become a local sect.
地方召会是神达到祂经纶目标所采取的手续。
Local churches are the procedure that God takes to reach the goal of His economy.
地方召会是神达到祂经纶目标─基督的身体─所采取的手续。
Local churches are the procedure God takes to reach the goal of His economy— the Body of Christ.
我们若否定自己，我们所过的生活就是身体的生活。
If we deny ourselves, the life we live will be the Body life.
我们若否定自己，我们所过的生活就是身体的生活，主也就能得着祂身体的彰显。
If we deny ourselves, the life we live will be the Body life, and the Lord will gain the expression of the Body.
在组成基督那独一宇宙身体的众召会当中，没有组织。
Among all the churches that compose the one universal Body of Christ, there is no organization.
在组成基督那独一宇宙身体的众召会当中，没有组织，但有基督身体的交通。
Among all the churches that compose the one universal Body of Christ, there is no organization, but there is the fellowship of the Body of Christ.

We could not contact that brother whose motorcycle was lost.

We need to repair the motorcycle of which the brake is broken.
7、玛丽仍然记得她得救的日期。(when)
Mary still remembers the day when she was saved.
8、我们需要宣告暹粒只是我们海外开展的第一站。(where)
We need to proclaim that Seam Reap is just the first station where we propagate.
9、疫情不能成为我们牧养松懈的理由。(why)
The epidemic should not be the reason why we are loose in shepherding.
10、基督是从神给我们的智慧，这必须是我们日常的经历。(which)
Christ is wisdom to us from God, which should be our daily experience.
